Cozy Nook - Unforgettable Secluded Cabin with Hot Tub and Maximum Privacy for Two People

Property Description

Recently purchased, redecorated, and upgraded in several areas, the cabin is located three miles from downtown Helen, but feels like this one-bedroom rustic cabin is totally isolated. It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway with little to no possibility of unwanted visitors, traffic, or noise. Property is located in deep rhododendron forest at the very end of a private road, the highest point on the entire property, and is snuggled up to almost 9,000 acres of the Chattahoochee National Forest for maximum privacy. Spa area of deck is covered, and the deck is totally secure from prying eyes. A well-accommodated full bath serves the bedroom, which has a new queen mattress and a new television. A new wide-screen television and DVD player have been added to the comfortable fireplace room. Enjoy finest relaxation and privacy, so romantic that you may not want to even leave the cabin. But remember that numerous activities abound in Unicoi State Park (fishing in numerous well-stocked area trout streams, beach, lake, boating, stunning Anna Ruby Falls farther up in national forest) and nearby Bavarian-themed Alpine Helen (great restaurants, shopping, tourist attractions, river tubing, golfing, canoeing and kayaking, horseback riding, etc). For the more adventurous, numerous walking trails are in the area, including the nearby segment of the famous Appalachian Trail, which crosses Highway 75/17 at Unicoi Gap a few miles from the cabin.
The lodging features one comfortable bedroom with queen bed (brand new mattress) and a full bath and tub/shower with convenient and safe step-in (garden tub) feature. In summer, spring, and fall, enjoy total seclusion both in the cabin and on the private deck out back, complete with roofed hot tub, and enjoy the view of the dense forest and the nearby mountains, complete with an awesome display of fall colors peaking out in October. In May the rhododendrons are in full bloom, the temperature is usually perfect, and the ambiance is almost palpable. In cooler winter months relax in front of the cozy wood burning fireplace in the great room, enjoy an occasional snowfall, and just relax with your loved one. Go out to eat at one of the fine restaurants in Helen, cook up your own fare in the well-stocked kitchen, or grill a steak on the deck's new Weber charcoal grill, which has all the needed Weber utensils. Enjoy cable television in HD and big screen in the great room, where a generous selection of quality DVDs is on hand. Bring your computer and smart phone, and you can access the internet throughout the facility by using the excellent Wifi service (access code will be provided before your arrival). It's a little bit of heaven near a place called Helen, and you won't find a more satisfying place to call home for a short time.
This charming cabin is often unavailable, and has never failed to rent on weekends since we bought our cabins two years ago. For this reason, we offer the next door property, Seclusion, which we also own, as a viable alternative. This is a larger, two-bedroom cabin, but has the same hot tub, and if anything the deck is even more private than Cozy Nook, if that’s possible. A full description of this jewel of a cabin is available in another section of this website and on the VRBO website. Normal minimal renting time is two nights; however, there are times when we have a slightly longer minimum, mainly major holidays and the Oktoberfest/Leaf Season.

We just got home from the cabin, left one day earlier than planned due to hurricane Florence. It was beautiful, nicely furnished and convenient to Helen and Unicoi Park. The queen bed is very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The only problem is that my husband kept hitting his head on the dining room light fixture because he is tall! WE went to Ruby Falls which is a must see, and the town itself. Wonderful, will be back.

Wonderful cabin for a private getaway!

Spent the weekend with my girlfriend at the Cozy Nook. Cabin is very private, and was surrounded by a beautiful forest. It has everything you need for a secluded stay. The bed is comfortable, and all the amenities are in great condition. The fireplace is a treat on cold nights. Kitchen has everything you need to make meals, or you can enjoy the great restaurants in Helen. Definitely recommend for a romantic getaway!

Cozy, comfortable retreat!

Cozy Nook is a gorgeous cabin, perfectly located at the edge of the Chattahoochee National Forest. Its proximity to Unicoi State Park and to the town of Helen (my hometown) can't be beat. The cabin is perfect for a couple, and made for a very enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this cabin for couples looking to explore Northeast Georgia.
